Do I have to be a certified yoga instructor to take this training?

No. This training is designed for anyone but we do recommend that you have a consistent personal practice leading up the training.

Is this training Yoga Alliance Certified?

Our training modules qualify towards Yoga Alliance Continuing Education credits if you have your 200hr Yoga Teacher Training Designation with Yoga Alliance..

What is Yoga Alliance?

Yoga Alliance® is the largest nonprofit association representing the yoga community. Their mission is to promote and support the integrity and diversity of the teaching of yoga.

Do you need to be Yoga Alliance Certified in order to instruct?

Yoga Alliance Certification is not required to teach/ instruct.

Is there a payment plan for tuition?

Yes we can certainly work with you to create a custom payment plan upon receiving your deposit. Questions or inquiries on our payment plan please contact us via e-mail hello@wymbin.com.

What ages does this training certify you to teach?

Ages 2 - 16.

Are there opportunities to practice teaching?

Yes. You can practice teaching in your own community or here at Wymbin.

Is there a discount for registering for both the Introductory & Advanced Training at the same time?

Yes, we offer a 10% discount if you register for both training modules at the same time. Please connect with us for processing.

Are there pre-requisites to take the training?

We require our Introductory 25 hour Training to be completed before the Advanced 70 hour Training.

​

Do you need to practice yoga to take this training?

It is highly advised that you have a current & consistent yoga practice. We recommend that you begin to practice 2-3 times per week prior to training in order to become familiar with the practice yourself. Practice what you preach!

Is my deposit refundable? 

All deposits are non-refundable, but can be transferred to another Wymbin School of Yoga training.

I see that some Kids Yoga Trainings are more or fewer hours- why is this training 50 hours per module?

We believe that this is the minimum amount of time that is required for us to deliver a high quality program that sets you and your students up for success. The content is thorough, the exercises and homework prepare you for real life teaching and the resources given are provided to build confidence on and off the mat.

Is my certification recognized in other countries? Or just Canada?

We offer this training all across the globe and truly believe that the teachings, resources and high quality educational experiences provided are applicable and relevant no matter where you are in the world.
